Every day is navigating a humbling path through lesser and greater amounts of ignorance. Sometimes I have questions that would take years of study to understand. These are the greater ignorances.
Other times I will spend only 20 minutes trying to prove or disprove something. These little efforts can alleviate the lesser ignorances... little experiments that dont usually have instant and amazing results but doing them keeps me sane. As a young adult I had no clue what to do with my brains and energy. Now that I'm older and I do have a clue, I could use all the brains and energy of 50 of those younger versions of myself. Alas, all I've got is one old self, who has only the time and energy for one or two little experiments each day at most.
