In order for this to be official. A GPC official would have to be present or through the use of Zoom. That is according the official GPC rules. No home scale can be used no matter if it’s certified.

Well, I dont want to speculate, but maybe he has health issues or something requiring an exemption or maybe the gpc needed to change the rules for their own reasons... The rules do need to change sometimes and the gpc is in charge of the rules. Hopefully, any changes that were made/ any exceptions that were granted to one grower will now apply to everyone. My 2 cents.
